MJK PHix Compact is an industrial pH sensor, that can be used to measure the pH and temperature in wastewater, drinking water and aquaculture applications.
Together with the Consibio Logger, you can measure pH and temperature in real-time to provide valuable insights for:
- Water Quality Monitoring: Provides accurate measurement of pH levels in wastewater, essential for assessing water quality and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Corrosion Prevention: Helps prevent corrosion in wastewater infrastructure by monitoring and maintaining pH levels within acceptable ranges, extending the lifespan of pipes and equipment.
- Process Optimization: Enables optimization of wastewater treatment processes by monitoring pH levels, allowing for precise control of chemical dosing and treatment efficiency.
Wiring of Sensor and Logger
Items needed
- 1 x Logger
- 1 x 4-20 mA Expansion Board v2.1
- 1 x MJK PHix Compact
Connecting a MJK PHix Compact sensor via. 4-20 mA
To integrate the MJK PHix Compact sensor with the Consibio Logger via 4-20 mA, utilize the 4-20 mA Expansion Board and follow these connections:
- Red and White wire to 24V
- Black wire to 4-20 mA IN1 (pH value)
- Grey wire to 4-20 mA IN2 (Temperature value)
This configuration leverages the Logger's compatibility with the 4-20 mA protocol and the versatility of its 4-20 mA Expansion Board, enabling seamless integration with industry-standard communication protocols for efficient data acquisition and monitoring.
