In-Situ AquaTROLL 500 is a multi-parameter Sonde, that can be used to measure a multitude of parameters (RDO, pH/ORP, temperature, salinity, turbidity etc.) in remote monitoring of e.g. aquaculture.
Together with the Consibio Logger, you can all the parameters in real-time to provide valuable insights for:
- Water Quality Monitoring: Provides real-time data on key water parameters such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and conductivity, ensuring optimal conditions for aquatic life.
- Early Detection of Issues: Enables early detection of changes in water quality, allowing for timely intervention to prevent fish stress, disease outbreaks, or mortality.
- Optimized Feeding and Growth: Helps in adjusting feeding regimes and stocking densities based on water quality data, promoting healthy growth and maximizing production efficiency.
Wiring of Sensor and Logger
Items needed
Connecting a In-Situ Aquatroll 500 sensor via. SDI-12
To integrate the In-Situ Aquatroll 500 sensor with the Consibio Logger via SDI-12, utilize the SDI-12 Expansion Board and follow these connections:
- Red wire to 12V
- White wire to Signal
- Black, Green and Blue wire to GND
This configuration leverages the Logger's compatibility with the Serial Digital Interface at 1200 baud (SDI-12) Protocol and the versatility of its SDI-12 Expansion Board, enabling seamless integration with industry-standard communication protocols for efficient data acquisition and monitoring.
