VEGAPULS C 21 is a radar sensor, that can be used to measure the level of water and fluids in stormwater and wastewater applications.
Together with the Consibio Logger, you can measure water level in real-time to provide valuable insights for:
- Overflow Prevention: Radar sensors can detect rising water levels, triggering pumps or alarms to prevent flooding and property damage.
- Accurate Level Measurement: Provides precise and reliable measurement of water levels in stormwater systems, aiding in flood prevention and control.
- Non-contact Measurement: Operates without physical contact with the water surface, reducing maintenance requirements and minimizing the risk of sensor damage.
Wiring of Sensor and Logger
Items needed
- 1 x Logger
- 1 x 4-20 mA v2.1 Expansion Board
- 1 x VEGAPULS C 21
Connecting a VEGAPULS C 21 radar sensor via. 4-20 mA
To integrate the VEGAPULS C 21 sensor with the Consibio Logger via 4-20 mA, utilize the 4-20 mA Expansion Board and follow these connections:
- Brown wire to 24V
- Blue wire to 4-20 mA IN1
- Shield wire to GND
This configuration leverages the Logger's compatibility with the 4-20 mA protocol and the versatility of its 4-20 mA Expansion Board, enabling seamless integration with industry-standard communication protocols for efficient data acquisition and monitoring.
