Keller 36XW is a submersible level prove, that can be used to measure the water level in groundwater, drinking water and wastewater applications.
Together with the Consibio Logger, you can measure water level (pressure) in real-time to provide valuable insights for:
- Monitoring Groundwater Health: Detects changes in water levels and pressures, aiding in the early detection of contamination, saltwater intrusion, or over-pumping.
- Assessing Water Availability: Provides crucial data for assessing water availability, especially in drought-prone areas, guiding water allocation and usage decisions.
- Ensuring Drinking Water Quality: Monitoring water levels ensures consistent access to clean drinking water by preventing well depletion or contamination events.
Wiring of Sensor and Logger
Items needed
- 1 x Logger
- 1 x RS485 v1.3 Expansion Board
- 1 x Keller 36XW
Connecting a Keller 36XW sensor via. Modbus RTU (RS485)
To integrate the Keller 36XW sensor with the Consibio Logger via Modbus RTU (RS485), utilize the RS485 Expansion Board and follow these connections:
- White wire to GND
- Black wire to 24V (also compatible with 12V)
- Blue wire to RS485 A
- Yellow wire to RS485 B
This configuration leverages the Logger's compatibility with the Modbus Protocol and the versatility of its RS485 Expansion Board, enabling seamless integration with industry-standard communication protocols for efficient data acquisition and monitoring.
