Sometimes, you want to make sure your data are securely deleted such that they cannot be recovered or accessed. This article describes how to achieve that.
We store three types of data related to users and telemetry data:

Your account
We store the basic account details you provided during signup like your name, email, phone (optional, but needed for sms alarms) and company (optional) to provide the services in Consibio Cloud

Projects
All device data, timeseries telemetry data and configurations are stored inside projects, which works as sandboxed environments around your data. Access rights are granted and controlled on the project level.

Organizations
Each project are assigned to an organization for billing purposes.
If you want to delete data stored in Consibio Cloud, please reach out on support@consibio.com and specify which project, user account and/or organization you wish to delete and we will help you through the process.
In order to complete a deletion request, we have to be able to identify that the requester has the rights to delete the data. Usually, this involves making the request from a verified email address that is associated to a user in Consibio Cloud with the correct rights. If you are in doubt, please reach out and ask.
