When working with more than just a few devices, it can be advantagoues to be able to edit settings across multiple devices in just a few clicks.
Luckily, this is possible in Consibio Cloud via. the bulk edit feature.
Bulk editing - Devices
If you want to bulk edit device settings across multiple devices, open up the project where your devices are and follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Devices tab
- Select the devices you want to edit by clicking on the device in the Select column.
- Press the (...) settings symbol
- Click Bulk Edit
A menu similar to this will pop up:
Inside this menu, you can change the following parameters across multiple devices:
- Max Offline - Adjust the max. offline time of the devices
- Max Interval - Adjust the max. measurement interval of the devices
- Location id - Assign devices to a defined Location
In the red zone called "Bulk Danger Zone" a user can edit settings across all the shown devices.
- Click in the Max offline field and change the value to your desired setting
- Click in the Max interval field and change the value to your desired setting
- Click in the Location id dropdown and change the location to your desired location
In this example, the max offline and max meas. interval is changed to 15m and 5m, respectively. The location id was left unchanged.
