Step-by-step guide for importing data into Excel

This is a step-by-step guide for importing data into Excel from Consibio Cloud on a Windows PC.


Importing Consibio Cloud data into Excel using the "Text to Columns" function (Applies to Danish system language)

Step 1: Download data to your computer (web browser)

  1. Open a browser and log in to a Consibio Cloud project.
  2. Change "Select Data From" to your desired interval (e.g., 7 days) and press "Update Plot."
  3. Press "Download Data" and select "Datalog.csv."
  4. Click on your downloaded file (Excel will open automatically).

Step 2: Convert text to columns (Excel)

  1. In Excel, select the entire first column by clicking on column A.
  2. Click on Data in the toolbar at the top and select Text to Columns.
  3. Choose "Next > Comma > Next > Advanced."
  4. Select the period "." sign as the Decimal separator.
  5. Choose the comma "," sign as the Thousands separator.
  6. Select OK.
  7. Click Finish.

Now your Consibio Cloud data log should be downloaded to your PC and imported into Excel.

 

Note: This guide is made for Microsoft Excel 365 with Danish system language. Depending on your computer's system language, the data import into Excel may vary.
